We are a diverse group of people whose common denominator is that we care deeply about our communities, our country, and the planet. Our purpose is to effect positive change through peaceful means.

The 99% movement is a non-partisan, grassroots, leaderless (some would say leader-full!) movement of citizens who want to get the corrupting influence of money out of politics; stop the looting by Wall St.; end excessive military spending and unnecessary wars, and end corporate domination over environmental policies. We are the 99% who will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%. We want to restore power to the People. Our politicians must work for all of us, not just their campaign donors or corporate interests, the few at the top. This movement is what WE make it. Bring your ideas and join us!
