Beginner Talk by Estella Madison
Estella is a front-end engineer at Blurb. She started working with SproutCore two years ago and moved onto Ember as soon as it was released. She's lucky enough to work with Ember almost daily for Blurb's online ebook editor.
Blurb built their online ebook editor using Ember. She'll discuss some of their struggles, how they resolved them, debugging techniques, and best practices. She'll also touch on how else they want to use Ember.
Firebase Bindings and Ember, by Andrew Lee
The talk will focus on the soon-to-be-released Firebase bindings. The bindings will make it easy to build real-time applications with Firebase and Ember without without writing back-end code or setting up servers.
Andrew has extensive experience building performant real-time software. He studied Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He previously founded two startups and worked for Adobe, Seagate, and Green Hills Software.
