October: Brian Cardarella, Luke Melia, plus lightning talks!

Brian Cardarella (@bcardarella) will be in town from Boston to share recent updates to his open source libraries, Ember Easy Form and Ember Validations, which let you do forms and model validations the "Ember" way. Brian is owner of DockYard, an Ember.js & Rails consultancy.

Luke Melia (@lukemelia) will present on "Understanding Actions and Events in Ember". Luke is the organizer of this meetup, and co-founder of Yapp Labs, which offers Ember.js training and consulting.

And we will have some great lightning talks:

• Thomas Boyt (@thomasABoyt) on "Ember App Kit & the Ember Resolver". Thomas is a JavaScript developer and Ember contributor living in Brooklyn.

• Jonathan Goldman (@jonnii) on Ember's new ReduceComputed feature. Jonathan was last seen attaching electrodes to Stef's head at a recent EmberNYC demo.

• Alex Matchneer (@machty), on the most recent improvements to the Ember router, which he wrote. Alex is the newest Ember.js core team member.

~

This meetup will be hosted at Pivotal Labs brand new offices and event space on 6th Ave. Thanks to Pivotal and to organizing sponsor Yapp Labs!
