Ember.js From beginner to advanced with Ember-CLI

Brendan O'Hara, one of our organizers, will be giving an introduction to Ember CLI, a command-line utility for easily creating and maintaining Ember apps.

Luke Melia (@lukemelia) will use Ember CLI to demonstrate and discuss the various layers of Ember: templates, views, components, controllers, routes, and models. You'll gain an understanding of the relationships between these pieces, what type of object to use when, and how Ember's conventions tie everything together. Luke has worked on dozens of production Ember apps in his role as co-founder of Yapp Labs, a speciality Ember training and consulting company based in NYC.

Two excellent and entertaining presenters with a wealth of knowledge on the platform and lots of real world Ember.js experience.

Thanks for having me as a speaker, everyone. It was nice to meet you all, and you all have an open invite to join us at Ember NYC any time. A PDF of my slides can be downloaded here if you want to refer to anything:

Thought the meeting went real well. I think 10pm is a little late but was worth it for the quality of talks and discussions we had. Keep up the good work!
