Filmmakers, if you are interested in learning more about digital cinema techniques (at all stages of production) with hands-on opportunities to create web content and viral videos, promotional spots and short films? Interested in working on a feature film? Or just want to support other filmmakers.

Perhaps you have experience and expertise in certain areas, from lighting to composition, sound topost production or anything in between and would be willing to help teach others?

Do you have any ideas, concepts, projects or productions where you could use some assistance, either with equipment or crew, or just help with getting it off the ground or just a safe place to discuss, hear suggestions or talk amongst fellow filmmakers?

If so, then it might make sense to join Emerging Artist's San Jose Digital Filmmaking Group. Headed by Sinohui Hinojosa, one of the co-founders of Emerging Artist Productions (a Bay Area Digital Production Company) and the co-founder, producer and programmer of the San Jose Short Film Festival (held each Oct for four days at the CineArts Theatre/Santana Row).

This group will meet to discuss digital film projects, with additional outings to get hands-on training, plus new workshops and movie screenings.
