Introduction
I'm beginning to experiment making educational videos as part of my consulting business. This group seems like it could teach me a lot of what I need to know.
Do you have any specific types of projects that you want to work on?
Educational videos.
As a filmmaker, how do you see yourself? As a writer, sound recordist, shooter, actor, producer, director, editor or something else? If you could only pick one, what would it be?
One person doing everything including talent -- jack of all skills (or lack thereof). If I had the resources, I'd be the producer and possibly the director, too.
Do you have an expertise or equipment you would be willing to share at a group event?
Canon high-end HDTV consumer camera, tripod, three studio lights w/stands, green screen (paper, not cloth), wireless laveler microphone, shotgun microphone.
