I enjoy socializing with family and friends, a variety of healthy social activities, and volunteer work in the community. I am interested in learning to film documentaries and short pieces for the Internet on important issues of social concern.

Documentaries and short pieces for the Internet on important issues of social concern, such as the erosion of privacy, health care, etc.
As a filmmaker, how do you see yourself? As a writer, sound recordist, shooter, actor, producer, director, editor or something else? If you could only pick one, what would it be?
Writer, producer, director, interviewer. Unless I find someone who is interested in the same issues and collaborating, I will have to be a one-person band.
Do you have an expertise or equipment you would be willing to share at a group event?
I'm good at writing and using words to create the desired effect.

Welcome, OceanLady! The first Meetup for the Bay Area Songwriters will be in Campbell near San Jose and Los Gatos. The actual street address will follow a few days before the event. We'll take a poll of attendees and attempt to find locations and later Meetup dates that will allow the greatest number of songwriters to join us. I hope to meet you soon and possibly to hear your creations!
