    Robert,
    Thanks for your notes.
    Rae-Ann,
I didn't get your email, and couldn't access the link from the newsletter.

Matt - just sent. Seems like the link only works for some people :-) For anyone else that can't get access - please let me know!

Got 'em, Rae-Ann. Thank you! (Now, how do I get on the working link list?)

Sounds like it was a great talk. I was planning to go but got a last minute gig. Cannot turn down paid gigs.

As I was unable to attend Craig's Friday night session, I would love to see if anybody wishes to post any tips that you took from it.

(I do subscribe to his newsletter, and when I get a chance to read his posts, I always come away impressed - and with something valuable to consider.)

    Thanks (in advance)...

The three as specific things I took away from the presentation were: 1. If you take the audience through the problem (of your story), then take them all the way through the payoff (remedy/result/change), 2. Find humor in character dialogue, and 3. Put the result before the remedy/result.

I have heard each of these points from Craig previously, but on Friday they stood out more boldly than before.

I've heard Craig a couple of times too, and this was one of his better ones - I think because he was a little late, he had to over deliver :-)

I really like Craig's approach. Even though I have heard him before and listened to many of his recorded speeches, I still learned new things last evening. He's a nice man and helpful in my development as a speaker.

Craig provided valuable information for all who want to improve their public speaking; and essential information for the emerging professional speaker.

Had a wonderful time tonight. Craig gave us a boatload of information while had me thinking I was at a comedy club. Awesome delivery!

Hi, signed up on meetup to attend a couple days ago, but i forgot to sign up on event brite for a ticket. Can i still come?

    March 7, 2014

  • Rae-Ann R.

Nice crowd! Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! I'll try to block a row of seats for those that want to sit together. I'll try to have a SB sign. Look for me in the brown sweater.

Unfortunately, a conflict came up for me, and I can't attend...who can I inform so that a spot frees up? Everyone: take good notes for me, okay? Craig is terrific.

    • Cynthia A. B.

Hey Matt that would be me. I'll cancel out your registration a little later today when I get stationary.

      March 5, 2014

  • Mike

I was going to show up without a ticket, but I want to let the group know that tickets are freeing up. I rsvp'ed a couple of days ago.

Awesome. EventBrite generates an event reminder 2 days b4. That always triggers people to update their registration if they can no longer attend. Looking forward to seeing you Friday.

      March 5, 2014

  • Mike

    I'm on the wait list.

    February 28, 2014

    • Rae-Ann R.

Hey Mike! How are you? Boo - sorry to hear that. But here is my suggestion: based on previous experience, I would say show up anyway. It's a free event, and typically people don't show up. But I do defer to Cynthia, Bob, etc.

      February 28, 2014

    • Cynthia A. B.

Mike definitely show up. We are counting on exactly what Rae-Ann said. I'll probably do the release of the waitlist on Wednesday since that's when the 2 day reminder will go out and that's when folks remember they have another obligation.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
