In the United States, women represent about 50% of students enrolled in architecture programs, but only 18% of licensed architects are women. Inspired by the AIASF Missing 32% Symposium, this group is for professional women who want to share their experiences, insights and strategies for navigating firm culture, developing communication skills and approaching leadership development. Too often the subject of women in architecture focuses on work / life balance, but this isn't the whole story. This group is about the broader subject of women who went to architecture school and are navigating the professional world. Maybe we'll even tackle the big question: How does one advance to the next level of the profession and a career?
