We will depart from London on Friday and head to our accommodation at the Beach Head Bunkhouse situated on the Cornish coast near the Bedruthan Steps. This converted two-storey barn at Pentire Farm, St Eval offers magnificent ocean views over Park Head and will be all ours for the entire week end.
On Saturday we will depart in the morning for a hike along the South West Coast Path, enjoying amazing views over the Atlantic Ocean. On our way, we will stop at the famous Carnewas & Bedruthan steps. The spectacular clifftop view of rocks stretching into the distance across the sweep of Bedruthan beach makes Carnewas & Bedruthan Steps, one of the most popular destinations on the Cornish coast.
After a picnic with view over Newquay Harbour we will head to Lusty Glaze Beach for our adventure afternoon !

Option 1 - Zip Line and Abseiling
Only 1 spot left !
(16 stones/101kg max)
At 750ft long and 120ft high, this aerial runway is one of Europe’s longest, highest and fastest. This beach zip wire is a fast, high adrenalin ride that requires a minimum level of instruction, so it is perfect for a quick buzz during your visit to the beach. Your experience on this aerial runway is finished off with a 50ft free abseil down to the sand.
Option 2 - Newquay Town Center
Those of you who do not wish to do the Zip Wire will have a couple of hours to explore Newquay Town and harbour.
We will then hike back to the accommodation, spend some time on the beach if the weather permits and enjoy a well deserved dinner all together!
On Sunday, we will walk northward along the South West Coast Path towards Padstow Lifeboat Station where we will stop for lunch. The new lifeboat station at Padstow (which is part of the The Royal National Lifeboat Institution) was completed in July 2006 and the new Tamar Lifeboat Spirit of Padstow was placed on service shortly after. This station is classed as an Explore station. Explore stations offer the best visitor experience. With free access, you can go inside and look around the station and see the lifeboat. If we are lucky enough we may even assist a lifeboat launch into the ocean!
