Coffee and Critique

One of the best ways to learn how to take better images is to look at your work as others see it. At this meetup, we will go over everyone's work, one picture at a time, and talk about what we like and what we think could use improvement. Please bring along two of your images on a USB flash drive. In order for the critique to be useful, please bring images you believe have some merit, rather than just snapshots of random scenes.

To save everyone time on the day of the event, please bring JPG images under 7 MB in size and include your name in the file, e.g. Ahmed1.JPG and Ahmed2.JPG. Please note that your pictures may be uploaded to Meetup/Facebook after the event for others to look at, and to help us create an archive of past submissions.

Venue information:

The Empty Quarter is Dubai's best photography gallery, and is located on the podium level of Building 2 in the DIFC Gate Village. It is a short walk from the Emirates Towers metro station, and visitor parking is free after 6 PM. If you need help finding us, call the EPyC hotline ([masked]), but please note that the event starts at 6:30 PM sharp, and we may not be able to answer calls after that time.

Get your best photos for today's critique since 2 professional photographers whom photos are exhibited in the Empty Quarter are most likely to join us!

TJ has a valid point. Instead of saying bring your best photos, why don't we simply say "bring your latest photos" or something similar :)

you are absolutely right TJ, I meant to get the best of what needs to be critiqued since the level of critique could be higher than the average considering our guests. I totally agree that getting something which you think is perfect to the critique is pointless

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
