As a therapist, I hear these questions routinely.  But, sometimes it seems the person asking the question presents it from a place of resignation, as if things could never change for them.  If you start by believing that things can change, then you’ve done yourself a big favor.  The next questions is what needs to change.
The factors behind having difficulty meeting a good partner can range from self-confidence to your work schedule.  Negative past experiences also influence a person’s dating behaviors.  And repeating patterns of bad dating or relationships can also leave someone feeling empty and unfulfilled.  We try new things, but too often end up in the same place., feeling even more pessimistic about finding a good partner.   
Meet Up / Meet Better is a forum designed to explore and address barriers to better relationships in a way that provides mutual support in helping each participant have a more rewarding experience in the dating world.  It may be hard to admit that dating has been tough at times.  But, understand that your frustrations are shared and keeping them to yourself only results in more frustration.  Learn better ways to find what you’re looking for.You’re invited to participate and even bring a friend to share in the experience.
