Our leader, Laurie, has passed, and we are all missing her so very much. I am not certain who will be able to go on to this site and change everything, but the family is closing her office.
Laurie, we know you are with your loved ones, and smiling that lovely smile. We miss you and remember what a great friend you were.

  Only Laurie's family can change anything on this site. I spoke with Meetup support and told them she passed away. They will not do anything to help us... they would have to know her account information. So unless they have her login and password, I am not sure that anyone can do anything about the site. I assume the site will remain active until her membership fee runs out and then Meetup will show she stepped down as organizer. Once no one picks it up, they will cancel the group. The only way to not receive notices for the upcoming meetings Laurie had scheduled is to change your email subscriptions in the "account" setup area of Meetup... or leave the group. Such a shame they do not have a classier way to deal with the passing of an organizer. We DO miss you Laurie... much love!

Celebration of the Life & Essence of Laurie Louise Grant will be held from 5-6:30 on Thursday, September 6, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 7th at 10:00am. Both services will be held at St Patrick's Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80918
