Where are you from? ... would be nice to know ...

I live in Los Angeles in USA & play beach volleyball in Spring, Summer and Fall two times a week & Sundays about 45 days a year. I sometimes play badminton 1-2 times a week. I meet about 20 people from EU nations playing beach volleyball at a Santa Monica beach I exchange email information with. I plan to buy a Irwin 38 sailboat in 2-3 years. And want to meet fun people to invite to help crew the boat from Los Angeles to Panama Canal, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Belize, Mexico, Texas, Florida, Cuba, Bahamas and head for Ireland & 3,000 miles of EU rivers/canals. I think it will be fun to have a mix of people from America, Asia & EU nations talking about places we explore & how we live at home. Preparing, cooking & sharing food from different cultures will be interesting. The boat will have inflatable canoe, kayak & people can visit for 1-6 weeks if not already reserved. Crew needs a sense of humor. I taught sailing in college & can teach anyone skills. Is Hamburg fun in Winter?

Hello, I think living on a boat to explore more of Hamburg, Germany & EU nations for months and years is more fun than only visiting for a few weeks or a month. And moving the boat 5, 10 or 200 km is more fun than packing'unpacking suitcases.
