Tropical Aquarium - Paris 12th arr.

For anyone with a toddler, ths is a great outing! I took my son for an hour ths morning and he was completely engrossed. Colourful fish, anemones, turtles, stingrays, sharks, and crocodiles...and many of the tanks start low to the ground so the kids can just stand and stare.

Annual pass was 12€, and at 10am, there were just us and a couple of school groups. Check for closures over Xmas : http://www.aquarium-portedoree.fr/

Just set a date on this - Please take note of Tracey's comment regarding strollers! Apparently not stroller friendly, so plan accordingly.

Could me au pair and my daughter come along. They are bored silly and the tropical aquarium sounds great. My daughter is almost three and the au pair is Spanish, aged 27 and speaks good English (but not such good French) hence being here.

I left the stroller at the vestiaire, and just let my son explore on foot. Much easier than dealing with the stairs!

Hi, I've just come across your post, and yes agree its a fab and very inexpensive place to visit with toddler, think it's only about 5€ for single visit, though for some reason it was free on day that I visited, and as you say annual pass is great value. I can't make mornings but if anyone fancies meeting up for an afternoon visit I'd be up for that, earliest I could get there would be 1pm.

Took your advice and visited this morning with my son and my parents. Was excellent! Thanks for tip!
Will just add that there are lots of stairs and no lifts. Not at all buggy-friendly so either try to avoid taking buggy down or be prepared to carry it often.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
