There are alot of new joiners to this group so hello and welcome from the team of organisers. Also just a friendly reminder for those of you already established and who have already attended meetups:
Please make sure you add a photo and short description to your profile when joining - it only takes a few minutes.
Anyone is free to suggest a meet-up, so please feel free - even if you are brand new to the group - to put one on the calendar so that other members can see it and rsvp. This is a great way to meet other parents quickly! Please email any of the organisers if you need help with this. Please do be careful about listing personal phone numbers and building codes directly on the site, it is preferable to ask members to mail you directly for further info if required.
Please make sure you email the meet-up host rather than the group organisers about a specific meeting as we are not neccessarily the meeting planner so we dont always have the info to hand.
Also please remember to update your RSVP if you can no longer attend an event. Of course, things come up with little ones and last minute cancellations are inevitable but hosts often put in alot of time and effort to prepare the event and it is simply common courtesy to advise if you are no longer able to attend!
By all means feel free to contact us if you have any other comments, ideas or feedback.
Kind Regards and a bientot
Catherine, nicola, Jennie and Sarah
If you're an English-speaking parent in Paris, and you fancy meeting up for a chat, then please come along to one of our meetups. Sometimes we meet for coffee, sometimes we visit a baby/child friendly venue. The children range from newborns to 4, roughly, and the mums are from all over: British, French, American, Australian, New Zealanders, Canadian....
This is an all-volunteer group, and events are proposed by mamas (or papas) just like you - so please propose an event that you'd like to see - most of the regular events you see here got started that way!
Effective October 1st 2013 members are asked to pay a €5/year membership fee to cover meetup.com costs. New members are welcome to attend a meetup before deciding to join the group and pay dues.
Working parents? Weekend events are often a big hit! Try something in your neighborhood, often there are more members there then you'd suspect. Older kids? We often see comments from members wishing for more events for above-3s.
