Update: I've changed this MeetUp to Tuesday the 13th April at 7pm because Carpe Diem was booked on the Thursday. But the good news is that we have a specially-extended Happy Hour until 9pm rather than 8pm - his keeps the price of beer at just ?3.10 a pint.
I hope this date suits those that have been kind enough to RSVP already, and that the rest of you will be inspired to do the same.
There was talk at the last MeetUp of giving away, selling or swapping old textbooks, so feel free to bring any along.
Also, if anyone wants to get there earlyish we could use our shared resource to record listening exercises - we may be able to get a good range of accents.
I'm looking forward to seeing as many of you there as possible and keeping the momentum going from last month's event.
Cheers, Sean [masked]
PS Directions to Carpe Diem (21 rue des Halles) - as before, take the rue de la Ferronnerie exit at Chatelet/Les Halles metro/RER and Carpe Diem is just across the road (look out for the Guinness sign).
This group is aimed at those teaching English as a foreign language to French people in and around Paris. We hope that you will swap ideas and lesson plans, pick up tips and exchange stories and job information. It's also for those of you who are just considering becoming an English Teacher, and therapy and prayer haven't helped. In any case, you are very welcome. We usually meet in a bar / café where the drinks are very reasonably priced so you get a good run for your hard-earned centimes. Cheers, Sean 06 10 20 88 09
