I have been practicing meditation for 10 years as a Buddhist in the Tibetan tradition, though I am very familiar with Zen as well, especially Thich Nhat Hanh. I meditate almost every day, and have specifically practiced Tonglen, Shamata, Guru meditation, and some dabbling in Vipassana.
I have already taken one course with Dr. Adelman. I found that it helped me relax and allowed me to approach my practice with more gentleness. I hope to take this further through this group.
