1st Entrepreneurship Mastermind Group

  • Jan 23, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Start your small business off on the right foot in 2014 by joining us for our first Entrepreurship Mastermind meeting.

Two heads are better than one! Calling all entrepreneurs who are interested in being part of a Mastermind Group (you can read more about what a Mastermind Group is here: http://www.thesuccessalliance.com/what-is-a-mastermind-group.html).

In a nutshell, each meeting will start with each of us entrepreneurs/or soon to be entrepreneurs in the Hot Seat, in which we will talk about our specific problem, decision or goal.

The group will then spend a set amount of time masterminding about each of our situations. To ensure that the ideas generated actually move us forward, each Hot Seat member will be asked to select one action item you will complete before the next meeting. You may know immediately on which idea you'll move forward on. Other times, the action item is to simply list all the ideas, weigh them against goals and resources, and choose the best idea from that meeting.

We will make goals and action plans, to keep us accountable for our own success and take our businesses to the next level. Otherwise the meetings just deteriorate into brainstorming and advice-giving sessions that never lead to action and success.

I hope to create a community of supportive entrepreneurs who brainstorm together to move our businesses forward in 2014 and beyond!

Note:  Each meeting will be limited to 10 participants, the maximum number recommended for a Mastermind group.

Not asking because I want it to be over fast ;-) More so that I see if I can squeeze in quick meeting over near Ostbahnhof after the event...

Hello there, is there a scheduled time for the meeting to finish, i.e., how long do these usually go? Thanks!

Hi all, I am really sorry that I cannot make tonight. Unfortunately have come down with a bug, and don´t want to make the rest of you unwell. Please keep me posted on the next meeting.

I´m part of other meetup groups and I know from the experience that usually only half of the group from attendants show up. Last time I went to one where 40 people signed up and only 20 showed up. So my suggestion is to allow more people to attend in case only 5 people from 12 would show up...It is just a suggestion ;)

Veronika, I know that is sometimes the case, but I've just sent everyone on the list an email asking them to stay registered only if they actually plan on coming. Given the nature of this group (personal attention everyone receives), I don't want to make it any bigger in case everyone comes, as then it won't be useful to anyone.

Yes, I fully understand! I was just speaking from the experience ;) If people respect and keep their planned attendance, then it´s fine, but you have to count on those who don´t, that was my point ;) Now, I have to cancel my attendance due to personal reasons. With this respect, I´ll give a chance to others to attend. :) Hope to join next time!

Just got the information that I cannot attend on Thursday. Sorry! Will be there for the next session for sure. My place is free now, already changed my RSVP...
