Sent on: Friday, January 25, 2008 1:20 PM
You are cordially invited this Friday, January 25, to the 2nd Freegan
Fashion Show: Threadbare! Come see our "trashy" models walk the beige
carpet runway in one-of-a-kind handmade costumes spun out of scavenged
scrap material.

The Freegan Fashion Show is a fundraiser supporting the Freegan Bike
Workshop, which provides free workshops on building out of trash salvaged
and donated parts. The freegan bike shop promotes second-hand bicycles as
a healthy alternative to cars!

- No oil wars! - No road kills and automobile deaths!
- No carbon emissions! - No oil spills!

There is a suggested donation of $7. Food is free (and freegan!) Dresses
will be raffled. Following the show, stay and dance till the wee hours.

Address: 15 Thames St. Two blocks from the Morgan Ave. L train. Leave the
train on the Morgan Ave. side of the track and walk two blocks South, past
Grattan St. to Thames St. Turn right, building 15, 3rd floor, top buzzer.
