Stockholm Erlang User Group meeting

  • Jan 29, 2013 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

The next Stockholm EUG meeting will take place at Klarna HQ. You will be able to listen to 3 interesting presentations;

1. Thomas Järvstrand will present The Erlang Development Tool Suite that can be found on Github.

"The Erlang Development Tool Suite (EDTS) is a package of useful development tools for working with the Erlang programming language in Emacs. It bundles a number of useful external packages, together with specialized Erlang plugins for them, and its own features to create a complete and efficient development environment that is easy to set up."

2. Robert Virding will deliver his presentation "Hitchhiker's guide to the Erlang VM" presented at the Erlang Factory Light in London, Nov. 2012.

"The BEAM is the standard Erlang implementation in use today. It was specially designed just to run Erlang. We will make a quick tour of the BEAM visiting the major sights to see what it looks like internally and how it functions. There will be no need of a towel on this short tour"

3. A short presentation on Klarna's Open Source Initiative.

      Indeed! Would it be possible to get hold of the slides (I am particularly interested in the EDTS ones)? Robert's presentation (video and slides) can be found at http://www.erlang-fac...

      Keep your eyes open and check in daily since people might cancel their registrations and seats will open up.

    The spots for the event went pretty quick this time ... !
    Is there any chance for more sits?

      We don't have a waiting list but look out for people withdrawing their registration which will open up seats. We will be sending out an email to ask people who have change of plans to cancel their registration.
