Chicago Erlang User Group Message Board › Erlang events in Chicago
There are a couple of huge Erlang events coming to Chicago.
First, you probably know that Joe Armstrong - inventor of Erlang - will be presenting at our meeting this Wednesday:
The page doesn't reflect it, but he'll also be presenting a short history of Erlang, which will appeal to anyone interested in computer programming. If you know someone who isn't already coming, please let him or her know!
Second, we're hosting an Erlang Factory Lite - a one day eight session conference - on October 4:
This is going to be great conference! We've a crazy low price for CEUG members and friends - if you sign up now, the price is $74 ($37 for students). The normal price for an individual is $150, so this is pretty dang good!

Hopefully we'll see you at both events. If you can tweet, retweet, favorite or otherwise spread the word, it would be astoundingly helpful!
