He founded a series software product and services companies, championed the first commercial research institute in Russia. Maximholds MS in Applied Mathematics from MIPT and MSE in Technology Management from UPenn.

The talk: Processing 0.5mln packets per second with Erlang

LINCX is an OpenFlow switch implemented entirely in Erlang that runs on top of LING (Erlang on Xen). A series of optimizations of the Erlang code and intrinsic properties of LING let LINCX join the club of fastest software switches. The talk is devoted to explaining these optimizations in detail.
