Do you use Erlang/OTP? For personal projects? Professionally?

Splunk acquired BugSense in 2013, which has mature Erlang code in production. I joined BugSense in 2014.

Favorite thing about Erlang/OTP (or coolest line of code):

Not having to write my own distributed systems, real-time, message-passing infrastructure again-- priceless!

New to Erlang yet long time writing production grade Common Lisp and otherwise doing distributed systems the hard way.
