First of all let me say that I did not forget about this group. We now have 16 members, so we should be able to gather as a small group to practice the "Universal Language." I also plan to have online meetups via paltalk or other chat services.
The bookstore listed above is at a great location. It is in a shopping complex that has numerous other stores. And, the Movie Tavern is there. The Movie Tavern is a theater that serves food while you are seated for the film.
The Towne Book Center and Cafe is the selected location, but this may be changed depending of the number of responses. Here is another location that may be more suitable for a larger group. This is located near a fairly large mall.

If you would like to help coordinate this event, please contact me at [masked] or [masked]. I will also start working on the website in a few days, so feel free to contact me with ideas and input.
This will be fun meeting, but it should also be productive. I want to create some sort of format so that we do not get bored. We can work on this together. I would start of by suggesting that each member be prepared to share the following:
1. Why are you studying Esperanto?
a. To prep for another language
b. A mental exercise
c. To communicate with people from all over the world
2. Where is Esperanto headed?
3. Advancements in Esperanto
I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
