Kate Lovelady, Leader
Dr. Anne Klaeysen Presides
This address will explore the relationship between American mainstream culture and work. How have attitudes toward work changed over the centuries? Why do Americans work so much more than people in other countries? Should we be using the recent recession as an opportunity to challenge norms about work hours? And what is ethical work?
Kate Lovelady is Leader of the Ethical Society of St. Louis. As a Leader Intern, Kate served the New York Society for Ethical Culture in 2004-5. She was born and raised in New York City and is a proud product of the public school system.
