Sunday Meeting - Ethical Election Issues - Part 1

Dr. Anne Klaeysen, Leader

Vince Navarro Presides

For Leader Dr. Anne Klaeysen every presidential election is important, and every citizen should register to vote, study the positions taken by the candidates, and make an informed decision when casting a ballot.

This year’s election highlights two radically different sets of values. Critical thinking is required; so is a caring heart. What makes voting an ethical act is the decision to consider not only our own personal interests, but also the needs of others. Ours is a religion of duty that calls upon us to “act for the good.”

In this first of two platforms, Dr. Klaeysen guides us through a process of ethical discernment and addresses three issues: poverty, education, and the environment.

Entry to our 100-year-old building and meeting rooms is available for most wheelchair users with prior arrangements. Please call ahead [masked] x 107) for setup of our portable system and plan to arrive one hour before start time.
