This was a fantastic and memorable evening. The jazz group was absolutely phenomenal bringing forth lots of foot tapping and swaying by the audience. Not to be missed! One of the most enjoyable events I have attended in a long, long time.

The 5th Monday Jazz night at the AME Church featured Isaac Stevenson, who was a splendid singer and the band was smooth and talented! The next Jazz night is Monday, September 30 so mark your calendars!

One of the suggestions Michelle Alexander made in her book "The New Jim Crow," which we studied at the beginning of the year, was to get to know our diverse community, engage with them, and this music is a delightful way to do that.

Let's walk our talk and show up on September 30 for some great music and meet new people in a gallery filled with posters of black history!
