Workshop: Applied Ethics, One Situation at a Time & Dinner with Arthur Dobrin

  • Apr 19, 2014 · 3:00 PM
  • Paula & Ben's Home

RSVP to [masked] NOT a potluck.

Workshop Starts at 3:00 p.m; Dinner Starts at 6 p.m.

Most of the time we don’t need to think about what to do. Ethics comes quickly and naturally. But there are times when we need to stop and think about what is right. The problem is that often we don’t recognize when it is time to take our ethics slow.
Arthur Dobrin is Leader Emeritus of the Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island and Professor Emeritus of Hofstra University, where he continues to teach courses in business and media ethics.
Dr. Dobrin is the author of more than 20 books, for adults and children, both non-fiction and fiction.

A wonderful workshop that got everyone talking with each other and making meaningful connections. The secret? A workshop full of content and delivered with a story teller's gift of narrative that drew us all in. Thank you Arthur!

It is really special to have author Arthur Dobrin with us! We've been using his book Ethics for Everyone in 2 of our monthly discussion groups for years and now we get to be with him in person! Bring all those tough ethical questions and let's get his input!
