The ABC's of Resilience

What is the most important predictor of a successful and happy life?  Resilience.

Learn the ABC's of resilience as we use the book "The Resilience Factor" by Karen Reivich, Ph.D., and Andrew Shatte, Ph.D.

In this first study group we will define resilience, then discuss advantages to learning this most important skill. We will start learning the basics: the ABC's of resilience. We will start the process of re-accessing our beliefs to lesson anxiety and suffering to become healthier and happier.

During this year-long Resilience study group we explore the mastery of resilience, and how this skill can help individuals, communities, and humanity thrive through time.

This series of discussions will be held on the first Sunday of the month at a lovely home in downtown San Jose. Address provided upon RSVP.

Ross's presentation was interesting and informative. I was inspired to think about moments of resilience I see or experience and to to cultivate more of those moments. Hosts were very gracious and treats yummy.

Our discussions take on various ethical issues, one issue at a time, usually. The basis for my ethics is relationships. When I ask whether something is a preference or an ethical issue, I consider the relationships involved. Come to a meeting and join the discussion. Or tea for a one on one discussion.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
