Eliminating Racism in Asheville - January 3rd Sunday Platform Meeting

Commemorating the birth of Martin Luther King, Jr., "Eliminating Racism in Asheville" will be the topic presented by Beverly Kaiser Wedthoff and Kathryn Liss at the Sunday, January 16th meeting of the Ethical Society of Asheville, 2:00-3:30, held in the Botanical Gardens Visitor Center, 151 W.T. Weaver Blvd. Wedthoff is an exceptional children teacher and long time affiliate of Building Bridges of Asheville, Inc. and Liss is former director of training at The Mediation Center and organizer of the YWCA's Stand Against Racism. In order to create a more inclusive community Wedthoff and Liss will share their experience working with Building Bridges and suggestions for promoting the Building Bridges philosophy. There will be a discussion period following the presentation and, following the meeting, there will be time for informal conversation. All are welcome!
