"Bending Toward Justice" will be presented by Glen Edward Chapman at the Sunday, June 17th meeting of the Ethical Society of Asheville, 2:00-3:30 PM, at the Friends Meeting House,
227 Edgewood Road in North Asheville (off Merrimon Avenue near UNCA)
. This is a new meeting location. Mr. Chapman, an
Asheville resident, will share his experience of wrongful incarceration in NC. Chapman will discuss how it is possible to remain true to your internal guiding ethic even when in the midst of unjust circumstances. Chapman spent over 14 years on Death Row before his release in 2008. He has published a book, Life After Death Row. He has yet to be pardoned or compensated by the state.
There will be a discussion period following the presentation. Following the meeting, there will be time for informal conversation. All are welcome!
