9/26 The Moral (psychological) Roots Of Politics (TED Talks)

Psychologist Jonathan Haidt had identified five universal human dimensions beneath politics. It is very entertaining and you will find yourself in there very quickly.

Watch it at

There is entropy (breakdown) of order in human groups just like in the rest of nature. He says it takes all five dimensions in our human tool kit to keep society together. Which tools are you most concerned with?

You can even take his quiz at http://www.yourmorals... .

But really, what the heck is he saying? So you step outside of right and wrong. The Quakers have known that for 300 years. What do you do with that information? It is all very vague to me. Please, watch the TED Talks clip and take the test. Then let's get together and talk about what it all means on a practical level.
