Frances Moore Lappé, famed author of the influential and seminal Diet for a Small Planet, will speak and receive the Humanist of the Year 2013 award from the Ethical Society of Boston on May 12. The award will be presented at 10:30 a.m. in the Lecture Hall at 395 Concord Ave., Belmont. All are welcome.
