UC Berkeley. And then UC Berkeley again. So much so that people thought I would never leave the campus community, that maybe I'd become one of those old guys with the beards and the books sitting in one of the few remaining Beat-era coffee shops. Which, actually, sounds pretty good right now.
A rodent of some sort, served on a stick, sold by a roadside vendor in what I think was Botswana. (Though I may be cheating on this answer -- does it count as "eaten" if you take a small bite and then politely spit the food out into a piece of paper after the vendor wanders away?)
