Etobicoke Social Meet N Greet Pages

This is an active group with events taking place two or three times a month. I’m not expecting people to want to attend everything. It will be to provide a variety of outings and activities across a range of interests. Over time, there will be more of the successful events and fewer of the flops! Some events will have very limited number of spaces offered.

I’m working on movie nights, restaurant visits, trips to local museums, art galleries, pub night, walks or hikes, participation in local events, community service, presentations from local businesses, wine tasting, beer tasting, theatre, sporting events and so on. Once there is an active group happening, we can look at day trips such as a Niagara Wineries Tour or even overnight excursions! Who knows where this might lead!

I’m looking to you to provide your feedback on what’s working and what’s not. If you have a suggestion for a group activity let me know and I’ll see if we can make it work.

The basic premise of the group is that it is Etobicoke based. It is for people that have some connection to Etobicoke. The group is open to all participants – whether you live, work or just like to play in Etobicoke you are welcome to participate in the group’s events. The majority of the events should be held in Etobicoke and on the west-side of the City. The group should be welcoming to people new in town and people looking to expand their circle of friends. It should provide an opportunity for people to get out of their homes and discover the community in which they live. It is a social group to build better connections with others in the community.
