I received this email today from Kristin and I"m forwarding it to all members in case she didn't have your email.
"All- I wanted to drop a quick note and let everyone know what is going on with Dianne. She was put into the Hopsice of Cincinnati House on Sunday (in Blue Ash on the corner of Reed Hartman and Cooper). The decision was made after she began having some falling episodes at her condo. They are working on getting her stabilized with her medication and trying to get her to eat more food.
Rodney and I went to visit her last night and she is in a very weakened state. She has not been eating much food for almost a month now and she is very frail. They have her on some constant medication and she is not always lucid but still has her spirits about her.
She asked me to write to everyone and give them an update. She also asked me to ask you that if you want to visit her, please call first - don't just show up. She has a phone in her room and would prefer you to call her on that. The number is[masked],
Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She could use them right now. Call me if you have any questions. [masked],
Thanks, Kristin Elkins"
PLEASE call those in the group that do NOT have a computer and let them know about the above! also I'm checking to see if we can still have this Fridays meetup at Mallard Cove. Any questions for me, please call me on my cell phone: [masked]
Do you love to play Euchre? Do you like to meet people? Do you like to laugh and have a great time? Do you love to have fun? Does your busy life allow you to enjoy yourself at least once a week/a month? We play every Week at 7:00PM - We alternate Friday and Saturdays.
Are you an experienced Euchre player, are you a little rusty from too many months or years of not playing or do you want to learn? What's keeping you from joining us? Come on over! Bring a friend! Bring more than one friend! See the calendar for our next game and join us. Be there or be square!!!
We meet at a restaurant, so come...eat while you play, before or after...or just drink the coffee, water that the restaurant provides (isn't that sweet...but leave a tip for the server anyway!!!)
