Very interesting evening. Francisco joined us for the first time, but left early - as so much of our earlier conversation was centered on another surprise(d) visitor, Abdul from Saudi. Abdul thought that "friendly conversation" was the definition of the unknown term "atheist." Well, true, but not in the way he had thought that he'd understood. So we discussed Muslim beliefs vs. Atheist non-beliefs. The most memorable question, to one of the ethnically Jewish members, was, "So how do you feel about Muslims ... don't you hate us all?" He was surprised by the lack of enmity answer(s).

I'm supposed to meet a friend at Sizzle Pie at 6 pm. I'll ask her if she wants to join me.

Don and I are very ill, so won't make it Monday. We will miss the good conversations. See you next time.

Organized religions have lost their marbles.

I respect spirituality, but organized religion is mostly dogma and slogans.
