It was such a pleasure meeting Kren and the members of the Danish Club! Everyone was very charming and hospitable. The food was delicious, the akvavit reminded me of German herbal liquor (I loved it) and the company was truly wonderful. Kren made us feel very honored by introducing us each individually to the other guests and members. Many thanks, Kren, for your hospitality! We will be back for next month luncheon with the Danish ambassador! Tak så meget!

Big thank to Andrew! The danish members were very friendly, excellent food with homebaked bread and there was even a musical presentation. I will come back again!

Important: The RSVP policy of the Danish Society is that if you confirm your presence and then don't show up, you owe them $15 for the next luncheon. I support this policy because they order food based on the number of participants. If people don't show up, that food gets wasted which is not acceptable.

Thirty bucks? I can get dinner and music at Cafe Budapest for less than that. Whats so special here?

Suit and tie would be de rigueur for the gentleman. I'm not so sure about the fake Rolex :) Do they serve a Danish meal at the Bazaar ? If yes, I'd be interested !

St. Ansgar's Church Spring Luncheon on May 11 is actually $25 according to their website. Not really much of a difference compared with the Danish Society's Luncheon.
