Touche, Sal ... the 'largest population of Greeks outside of Greece' was THE reason we chose to try Tarpon Springs (first), rather than just throwing a dart at Northern Florida and living there, instead. It will be lovely to enjoy it with Athena and any other F.O.G.s (friends of Greece).

Aha! KNEW there was a reason Jim & I were on the Immigration 'wait list' to retire (outside) Melbourne (DIDN'T know there were that many Greeks there!). When we moved from Japan to Oman they said we'd have to reapply from 'our' country & thanks to the economy in 2010, Jim was having second thoughts. Not gonna ask Tarpon Springs for my money back yet....kinda liking it here, especially having found you all so near-by.

As Homer said, "beware of Greeks named Athena or Demetrios!"

Had another nice time (this time, close to 'our' home here in T.S.) meeting new friends from other interesting places who are now making THEIR lives here in the greater Tampa area.

Thanks everyone fr coming. It was a hectic day for Tarpon Springs with the celebration of the Greek Independence day so it was a miracle that we all found parking!

I am afraid we had to make it shorter as there is an accommodation problem with the restaurant. Sorry, but we can not accomodate the waitlist.

I mispelled it (late) and when I went to correct it the site was off. :) I closed the RSVP until two weeks before the event.
