Impromptu hike through Lincoln and Concord

I wish that we were having better weather this June. The good news is that it is supposed to be a beautiful day today.

I will be going for a long hike through the farms, fields and woods of Lincoln and Concord. The hike will involve walking along part of Walden Pond and a possible swim. On the way back the hike involves a steep walk up Pine Hill.

This is going to be longer and more strenuous than the walk cancelled by rain. If you have done any mountain hiking than this walk should be fine.

The hike will start at 5:00 (at the Lincoln Commuter Rail stop) and last until 8:15. There is a train that stops at Lincoln at 4:38. I can give people a ride back to Alewife or Riverside afterwards.

Due to the short notice and the fact that as soon as I send this email I am spending the rest of the day outside the event is not being posted as a Meetup. Please call me if you have any questions or to RSVP Yes. My cell phone number is (617) 921-5524.

Remember, please call to RSVP and that this is a strenuous walk/easy hike! Anyway, I am off to get some sun!
