SandyCon@230 Fifth - Hurricane Benefit For Kids of Breezy Point: Free Admission!

Twas the night before Santacon, what do you think

Head to 230 Fifth & have us a drink?

Hello Everyone:

The Holiday season is upon us and it's time to announce our 8th Annual Holiday Party!

It will take place on Santacon Eve & keeping with the holiday spirit, $1.00 from every drink sold will be donated to the Point Breeze Fire Department to buy presents for kids from Breezy Point NY whose homes were destroyed by Hurricane Sandy!

In addition, there will be an area where those who bring new, unwrapped toys for the hurricane victims can donate them.

The Holidays will be difficult this year for kids who lost everything and while many neighborhoods were devastated, Breezy Point was particularly hard hit with 110 homes burned to the ground. It is a community that many fire fighters call home, so here's our chance to help the families of those who put their lives on the line every day to help keep us safe!

Fun! I enjoyed meeting you, Andy and many of the others who were in the meet up and some not and still was good to be there. I understand that at a "Benefit Party" like this, it was a challenge to do much more than social networking, however, it is also important to me for finding out what others are into and passionate about and share ideas too.

This looks Fabulous and for such a heart-felt cause too! I'm in!
I, for one am grateful for my 10 days of power inconvenience for so many others had it truly tough. My heart and love goes out to the families and their children! Looking forward to moving forward and putting that behind us all. With Joy!

Well said Mary. Members of my community in Cortlandt Manor banded together and got down to the Rockaways to distribute donated items and help people clean up their mess. They are making progress and these continued reminders will make our tri-state area whole again. I'm with you 100% - Those of us that only lost power are truly the lucky ones!!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
