Joint event with Denver Events and Italian Food Lovers! Il Fornaio’s award-winning authentic Italian cuisine is a favorite in Greenwood Village. Specialties include housemade pastas, wood-fired pizza, grilled fish, authentic risotto, rotisserie meats and fresh artisan breads. Winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 2007. We will have a private room and I am still working on what dicounts we can get, I'm hoping we can get our attendance to at least 30 guests. :) Melissa

Do you have a minute and a can of food...Hopefully I will be seeing you Sunday at D'Vine Wine. ***IMPACT YOUR COMMUNITY***MAKE NEW FRIENDS***WINE TASTINGS*** Please invite everyone you know! D'Vine Wine has graciously offered to be the meet-up location for our November volunteer event. Please bring items that can be donated to the Denver Rescue Mission. We will be at D'Vine Wine from 11am - 3pm. Below are items that the mission is very much in need of. ALSO - There will be sign up sheets for you to express if you would like to get involved with charities such as The Dumb Friends League, Denver Rescue Mission, The Gatherings...and more. Hope to see you all soon, and I look forward to getting to know fellow vounteers! *Size five diapers, dishwasher soap and birthday wrapping paper.

Charles Grandy the Chief Instructor for the United Studios of Self Defense has offered our group a free self defense class. Afterward, we can head over to C.B. & Potts across the street where I'm sure there will be some good happy hour deals. The class will cover things like:
How to get out of a wrist grab, Choke hold.
What to do if your shaking someone's hand and then they try to attack you.
Defense against getting hit in the head with an object.
The class is very safe.
Little or no contact.
Class time about 1 hour or so. They have a restroom in the Dojo so people can change. You will want to bring workout cloths like sweet and a T-shirt etc. No shoes are needed. They have a water cooler/cups so no bottles needed. If you would like to take the light rail, take it to the Arapahoe Station. RTD# 303.299.6000. It's about an 8 minute walk to the school from the station.

Camping near Mishawaka. You can download a map to our location here.... http://nightlife.meetup.com/223/files/ Some of us are carpooling from Denver on Friday. We will meetup with others about 1/2 to Ft. Collins. We plan on coming back on Sunday. The site we are going to has incredible views and makes for a great camping spot. It's located up by Fort Collins near Mishawaka where it's only dirt roads to the camp sites. I have room for 1 more people in my Jeep if you would like to ride with me. I'll go up on Friday to secure a location. Others could join us on Saturday if you wish. Please let me know via RSVP what day you will be coming up and if you want to carpool or not.

Hi Denver night life party people! One of our members, Amy, has offered her house up for a wine party. She is located near Jewell & Sheridan and she has a big backyard and patio area. This wine-themed party will be about sharing your favorite wine with the rest of us. The only requirement for this party is that you bring one bottle of your favorite wine. Now if you want to be all greedy and not share your favorite wine, then I suggest you bring two bottles. ;-) I would like to encourage a few to bring some appetizers or nibble snacks, too. Not a requirement as we will supply limited food. Should be a fun and exciting night! We can’t wait to see you there.

Tonight will be a night to relax, eat and drink great food and wine, and meet new friends. Trios Enoteca is one of my favorite wine bars in Denver. If you have never been to a wine bar you should check this one out. It's pretty cool with all of the taps at the bar which pour wine. Enoteca means "wine library" and when you see the number of taps at the bar, you will see why. Their food is great and you can't beat the live Jazz. This night, Creighton Holly & Dave Randon will be playing from 7PM until 11PM Happy Hour is from 5pm - 7pm. 1/2 price wines by the glass with over 40 selections. $3 draught beer including Guinness, Harp and Locally brewed Wynkoop beer. Italian style pizzas at 1/2 price. I'll arrive at 5PM to claim a table, make sure the wine isn't corked and take advantage of the happy hour prices. Fell free to come anytime before 7 if you RSVP yes. This place gets crowded and I don't want to hold a seat for someone that doesn't show up until 7:30. Please don't RSVP yes and not show up at all. It's disrespectful to me, the restaurant and others that would like to sit. I'm looking forward to this event and seeing you as it's the first event I have had in a long time.
