I'd really like to combine all of my Meetup groups into one group. That way, there will be less e-mails going out and people will be able to see the actual RSVPS for events rather than thinking nobody or only 1 or 2 people are RSVPd.

My main group MoxieintheCity.net Social & Professional Networking, has almost 4,000 members. It's on that group that I post the large scale free events, athletic events, wine events, etc. The full RSVP lists are able to be viewed on that group.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but I think people are no longer willing to expend any amount of time or effort into online dating anymore. I'll get an e-mail from a guy, I'll respond, he responds...and then either I lose interest or he does. It's like we're now expecting fireworks in the first couple e-mails and get bored much quicker than we did 2 years ago. I attribute that to a ton of people just feeling a general fatigue with the whole process and experiencing too many disappointments. It's just become too much work.
