Was Great, is anyone interested in doing a book swap or lending kinda thing with in the groups?

That is something we could discuss next time.
I don't like lending my books, although I do have a few duplicate copies of some things for my students to read. But just yesterday night, my room-mate suggested starting up a "Pagan Book Club" to get together once a month and discuss some book we'd all read. That might be fun, if there's enough interest and people could agree on what they'd like to read.
Thanksgivings to all who came out yesterday. It warms my heart to see such a positive response, and active participation of all.
A wonderful time, great discussion. Looking forward to our next moot.

But I'm always up for chatting about a few good books. Or a dozen.
When I was in school in Camrose I did a term paper on the Cold War back in the late 60s involving JFK calling Russia`s bluff during the Bay of Pigs putting the world in the 11th hour - one hour away from WW III. Tonight we watched a documentary called `The 11th Hour`, a production talking about the affects global warming at present, and what it means for our future. So I would like to have the discussion centered around; are we in the 11th hour globally? If so, what should we, as people of an 'earth-centric religion' be doing to help change things fo the better - and the improvement of our children;s and grandchildren's futures? [As well if some want they can bring, and share thier favorite book(s)].

I would have to bring a huge suitcase for all of my favorite books. :)

One or two are fine.
Books, not suitcases. ;)

Darn it. I do have a couple of good, and pertinent, ecologically sensible Pagan books. I'll see what I can carry in my backpack...
I forgot that I signed up for the CWAA workshop happening that night. Next time! :(

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
