Fashionista Volunteers, etc needed for Working Wardrobes Success Graduation

Working Wardrobes needs numerous Volunteers to help with their Graduation Day. These 125 female residents of 12 transitional living and recovery programs and vocational schools have successfully completed Working Wardrobes Career Success Institute Workshop. They are celebrated as they are adults who have overcome great challenges and need a major boost to their self-esteem to feel more positive about the future. Planning for re-entry into the world of work poses real barriers to women who do not have the professional attire to make a good first impression in an interview. This "Career Success Graduation" provides services that will rebuild self-esteem and develop confidence so that the "inside" will match the outside. This day is all about their success and a celebration of the hard work they accomplished in their workshops. Please sign up here and also go to the top of this page under more, then to files, then find the Working Wardrobes form that you will need to fill out and submit to them. To be a Stylist you will have to have had some type of retail experience which you can speak to them about, however they need other volunteers for other tasks. This is an all day committment but I guarentee you will have a great time!

What a rewarding and fun experience. We had make up artists, hair stylists and wardorbe stylists all volunteering to give 88 women a complete make over. I would highly recommend volunteering for this event next year.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
