The Symphonic Rock Show

The Symphonic Rock Show is returning to the Henderson Pavilion on April 7th. Last year's show featured Vegas favorite Yellow Brick Road, the Lon Bronson Orchestra, and the Bella Electric Strings. If you enjoy music, this is the show of the year to attend. There are only 2,000 seats, so this will sell out fast. Tickets are $17 and I've already purchased 4 rows, C and in the orchestra pit and P and Q.Here's a link to their website: http://symphonicrocks...

I would expect over 100 members will sign up for this as the show is outstanding. Trying to fit that many people in one restaurant might be tough. If we get a large enough response, maybe we could reserve a whole restaurant nearby and have a buffet set up. What are your thoughts or suggestions? The tickets are reserved seating, so we won't have to get there super early in order to have a good seat. I will close the RSVPs for dinner on March 7th, so I'll have time to organize a place to accommodate the large group.

I will be attending Meetups between now and then and you can get tickets from me directly, or you can just send me a SASE with the cash and I'll mail your tickets. Email me offline for my address. The response has been great so far, so don't delay. Of the 131 tickets I have, a third sold in the first 4 days! This is cross-posted in Having Fun in Vegas - Singles, so I can't put a limit on seats, but when the tickets are sold out, that's it.

Update Mar 10: The show is 4 weeks from tonight, so everyone should mark their calendars for this great event. If you haven't already requested tickets, do so now so you don't miss out on this amazing show. The band is currently doing the arrangements for so new songs and it promises to be the best show so far this year.

Update Mar 24: Two weeks left to go until the big show! I've spoken with the band leaders and everything is getting ready and geared up for the big dance. If you haven't ordered tickets yet, time is running out!

I've secured the back patio at Balboa's for dinner prior to the show from 5:30 to 7:30. They are located in the Green Valley District, right across from the Elephant Bar. They serve food and drinks, from appetizers to great pizza, all at a reasonable cost along with Happy Hour drink specials. They have 27 high-top chairs with tables, along with a large enough area for mingling, so they can reasonable accommodate around 50 people. Please try to get there as early as possible, and don't be upset if everyone shows at 7:15 and can't be served and out the door in 15 minutes.

Parking at the district and Green Valley Ranch Casino is better then that at the Henderson Pavilion, so I'd recommend parking over there and then walking to the show across the street.

After the show, the Lon Bronson Orchestra is having an encore presentation at the Ovation Room in the Green Valley Ranch Casino. Cyd has posted another Meet-Up for this, so let's support them there also.

As the show is upon us, there is little time to coordinate tickets. Please email me directly after you sign up for the show to coordinate tickets. My email address is [masked]. Thanks.

It looks like this show is going to have a great turnout. In the first nine days of reservations, one third of the tickets have already been sold. Don't wait until the end because the great seats I have will be gone!
