The Evolver Social Movement’s mission is to create the scaffolding for an international consciousness network based on cooperation, environmental stewardship, joy, creativity and play. We enlist a permaculture approach to this social art sculpture, believing our local communities know what’s best for them. The Washington, D.C. Evolver Spore is providing a forum for people to interact on a face-to-face level to raise awareness and empower our local community in this extraordinary time. Ever-conscious that this is the capital city of the ostensibly-united states of America, we endeavor to bring critical new perspectives on all the effects that this power structure has had and is continuing to have on the world, as we concoct fresh strategies and approaches to transforming local and global social relationships to become more mutually beneficial. We aim to collaborate with others in the Greater Washington, D.C. area to organize film screenings, workshops, panel discussions, and more in an effort to create a symposium for cultural transformation. Especially in a city like Washington, D.C., our views are passionate and diverse, so we emphasize creating a culture within our group based on mutual respect, empathic listening, finding common ground, and connecting with the needs underneath the words. This page is our online hub where you can stay updated on the latest events and projects we are working on. If you have something to share, feel free to contribute your thoughts to the discussion. But more than that, come out to our next event and meet us in person! Ultimately we are trying to get people out of the virtual world and take action on a practical, realistic level. From building a community garden and organizing workshops on alternative models of decision-making to hosting presentations on revolutionary science and our current civilizational crisis, we are nurturing a growing movement of radical evolutionary thought. Remember, it's our world to change!
