Introduction
My wife and I live in Cartersville, and have an impossible time meeting groups in ATL. I think we're just looking for some normal people to share some intelligent conversation with (and probably a few beers too)
How long have you been an ex christian (or skeptical christian)? tell us your story!
geez, that could take a while. Both my wife and I were long term Catholics. We're neither Catholic, nor in the closet about our beliefs anymore. It was a slow recovery, over multiple years.
what do you hope to get from this group?
Good friends, and good conversation.
have you experimented or sought other alternate spiritual paths? if so, what...and tell us how it is working for you.
I prefer thinking, contemplation, and philosophy. "spirituality" serves many just fine, but it doesn't do much for me.
