Definition: a branch of philosophy that investigates the origin, nature, methods, and limits of human knowledge.


Questions:

1. What is knowledge?
2. What do we mean when we say we "know" something?
3. How is it that we come to knowledge? Where does it come from?
4. Are some methods of obtaining knowledge more effective? By what metrics? Does it depend on the situation and/or the type of knowledge we're attempting to gain?
5. What is the relationship between knowledge and belief?
